COURSE OVERVIEW
This one-day course gives an introduction into the many different Learning Disabilities that may be encountered in the workplace. This course will help to increase understanding of Asperger’s, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
Delegates will understand methods of handling people with these disabilities to enhance the care given to them – Learning methods include small and large group work, debates, scenarios and handouts.
This is a very interactive course providing information for students to take back to the workplace.

– Understanding what is a Learning Difficulty
– Explanation and discussion to understand Asperger’s, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia
– Identifying strategies to encourage independence
– Recognising how and when difficulties may occur and assisting clients to manage these
